These pages are dedicated to helping others to fall in love with reading.
I am what I like to refer to as a RABID READER. I froth at the mouth for the chance to read. But I grew up in a household where half were born-readers and the other half were more reluctant when it came to books.
Life is easy if you are a Rabid Reader. Less so if you end up falling into the ‘RELUCTANT READER’ camp. These folk may have dyslexia or another form of reading impairment. Either way, I find it easier to refer to them as ‘REL-Rs’.
And yet I have discovered that nearly anyone can learn to grow and to develop their reading muscle. All that they need is a little bit of help, patience and a quiet place to hang out. Or earplugs. I swear by earplugs.
